Location: Kansas City MO

We are looking for a Senior Mainframe developer and are local to NJ/NY or Buffalo.
Must Have Skills:
1. Liaise with business usersclient managers specialists to understand the requirements problem statements
2. Owns the overall design of JDA template for Supply and Inventory Planning to meet customer requirements
3. Guides the template design considering best practices, high usage of standard functionality, repeatability with efficiency, scalability, and sustainability
Nice to Have Skills:
1. Experience in PLSQL programming
2. Experience with Oracle databases SQL queries, stored procedures.
Detailed Job Description:
Liaise with business users/client managers/ specialists to understand the requirements / problem statements
Owns the overall design of JDA template for Supply and Inventory Planning to meet customer requirements
Guides the template design considering best practices, high usage of standard functionality, repeatability with efficiency, scalability, and sustainability
Leads Supply Planning process and technical design, build, testing and training. Documents all external interface requirements
Supports Business Integration team in writing of Functional Designs (FDs), Field Mapping Documents (FMDs), Technical Designs (TDs)
Defines Supply & Inventory Planning data requirements, test scenarios/cases and associated to data requirements
Reporting issues / bugs to JDA and tracking their resolution
Take decisions independently and interact directly with customers
Demonstrate conference room pilots with SMEs.
Carrying out Development/upgrade/support tasks as assigned
Reviewing technical specs
Coordinating with the customer & offshore team to resolve queries or clarifications
Coordinating/conducting testing or release management activities and provide support for estimations
Suggest and validate various solution options for the requirements and provide technical leadership in the development / implementation project
Skill Set:
Experience with Windows/Unix environment
Experience in PL/SQL programming• Experience with Oracle databases - SQL: queries, stored procedures
Strong conceptual understanding in the Supply Chain Planning and Optimization
Good Knowledge on BY DP, FF
Prior experience in developing test plans for all test phases (Assembly, SIT, Performance) for technical objects and test cases/data by liaising with JDA consultant and Business Process Expert
Prior experience in performing Technical architecture design and landscape for hardware, software, database and network
Knowledge on other JDA modules would be an added advantage like I2 Supply Chain Planner
Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting skills
Strong Communicator and has Onsite experience.
Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, dynamic environment
Exhibit a commitment to customer service while building customer partnerships.
Knowledge on other BY modules would be an added advantage
Exceptional client Interfacing skills
Prior experience in leading implementation teams would be desirable
Prior BY Master Planning and Fulfillment implementation experience in the Retail/CPG domain would be an added advantage
