Microservices Java/Kafka developer

Addison, TX, Chandler AZ or Charlotte NC

6 months contract to hire - 

Max rate: $58.13/hr + benefits +

 

Visa limitations: USC/GC/GC-EAD preferred.  NO OPT-EAD, NO STEM-EAD, NO TPS-EAD, NO H1-B for this or any position with this client.   

Job Description:

  • Lead or participate in complex initiatives on selected domains.
  • Assure quality, security and compliance for supported systems and applications.
  • Serve as a technical resource in finding software solutions.
  • Review and evaluate user needs and determine requirements.
  • Provide technical support, advice, and consultation with the issues relating to supported applications.
  • Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit tests.
  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices.
  • Understand and participate to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
  • Conduct research and resolve problems in relation to processes and recommend solutions and process improvements.
  • Assist other individuals in advanced software development.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 plus years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Contract to Hire position.
  • Locations: Expected to be Hybrid 3 days in the office
  • Addison, TX
  • Phoenix or Chandler, AZ
  • Charlotte, NC

Mandatory (Must Have):

  • 3 plus years of experience with Reactive architectures, Event driven architectures and event driven patterns
  • 5 plus years of experience in cloud native micro services development using Spring Boot on AKS or pivotal cloud
  • foundry or GCP
  • 2 plus years of Cloud Foundry or AKS or GCP experience
  • 3 plus years of experience with confluent Kafka streams
  • 3 plus years of experience in designing and engineering cloud native solutions

Others (Optional):

  • 3 plus years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments
  • 2 plus years of Mongo DB experience
  • CKAD or Microsoft or Amazon or GCP cloud certification
