Job Title: Java Full Stack Technical Lead

End Client: Prudential (Finance Industry)

Work Location: Onsite - Newark, NJ 07101

Interview Mode: In-person

Duration: 12 months

Rate: DOE

Visa: No H1B's, OPT, CPT

Must have Skills:

  • Must have a combination of Full Stack, Angular, JavaScript, Java, Full Stack, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • Must have experience with relational databases- such as PostgresRDS and data analytics
  • DevOps, CI/CD knowledge is required.
  • Ability to adapt and drive migration of pipelines
  • Must be able to create technical patterns, governance, and drive implementation.
  • Must have experience with service implementation using microservice-based Architecture. (Apigee etc.)
  • Must have experience in building and delivering APIs (Application Programming Interface) and platforms for consumption at scale
  • Familiar with security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature), SSL, web service proxies, firewalls, multi-protocol gateways
  • Strong understanding of Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies is required
  • Driven, self-motivated, able to work under pressure using sound judgment & professionalism.
  • Must demonstrate an appetite for continuous improvement, through understanding of modern technology innovation and its application
  • Demonstrated ability in the development and design of sophisticated applications.

  • Work flexible hours as needed to accommodate onsite and offshore team needs
  • Drive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines
  • Thrives to ensure code quality is high with supporting unit test and automation, and timely delivery
  • Research problems discovered by quality assurance or product support with a keen sense of ownership and develop solutions to address the problems
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and how they can be applied to Prudential
  • Drives low-level design and contributes to high-level architecture. Champion modular design, reuse, separation of concern, high cohesion, and loose coupling
  • Enable change, help accelerate innovation
  • Demonstrating experience with taking intelligent risks and leveraging a 'test and learn' mentality

  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality
