General Description:
Under general supervision, engage in the building a next generation healthcare platform leveraging the latest and evolving set of techniques and technologies. Possess the ability to work independently on most phases of software application development, in an agile and highly focused environment. Responsible for the development and implementation of leading-edge API in an AWS environment.
Detailed Description:
Engage in building a next generation cloud-based healthcare platform leveraging an evolving set of technologies including Java, Groovy, SpringBoot, MySQL, Docker, and AWS services such as EC2, S3, ECS, and Redshift.
Designs, modifies and supports all product related technology and functionality, including software infrastructure in an AWS hosted environment.
Demonstrates strong drive to learn and advocate for development best practices (TDD, code reviews, continuous integration, etc
Communicates proactively and effectively with team members and other product stakeholders in a highly Agile environment.
Self-starter that will take tasks and accomplish them with little oversight according to timelines and budgets agreed upon with business and technology stakeholders.
Strong background in JVM languages and relational databases.
Experience with GIT, GitHub/Lab, Jenkins
Demonstrated technical experience as an application engineer, cloud-based experience preferred.
Event and asynchronous program experience
Experience building/consuming REST web services.
SQL design and development skills.
Demonstrated initiative with learning new technologies, such as Cloud, No SQL, Serverless.
Nice to Haves:
Certified Amazon Web Services Developer.
Experience with OAuth 2 and JWT security
Some understanding of modern NoSQL platforms (Redis, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB)
Demonstrable experience working with large enterprise data assets and BigData concepts
