Job Description :
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation oversees transportation issues in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The administrator of PennDOT is the Pennsylvania Secretary of Transportation. PennDOT is currently looking to hire JAVA developers with 2-8 years’ experience for their ongoing as well as upcoming projects.

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Duration: Long Term

Requires: JAVA Developers

Level: Mid Junior to Junior Senior
Experience: 2-8 years

Job Description:
Minimum experience of 2-8 years with Java and JEE, JSP/Servlets, EJB, JMS and MVC framework
Hands on experience with JDBC, JPA, SQL and relational database systems to implement Data Access Layer is required.
Good knowledge and understanding of XML and XSD
Web Services development experience is desired
Use Hibernate as persistence framework to map java objects to relational database tables using XML configuration files.
Use Jazz for Source control, tickets.
Developer productivity tools such as Eclipse IDE, unit testing framework and rational clear case configuration management tools is highly desirable.
Experience working with WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server is desired
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to understand/articulate the root cause of software problems
Deep Knowledge of Microservices architecture, Angular JS, Node Js, Containers and Docker environment
Good written and verbal Communication skills to work directly with the business team
