Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Richmond, VA(Locals Preferred)

Description:

  • local candidates strongly preferred
  • candidate selected must come onsite to pick up laptop, no exceptions
  • candidate will have to work onsite when restrictions are lifted
  • Develop and incorporate business processes to enhance applications. Write, modify, support application code based on the requirement. Collaborate development and other technical activities with groups.
  • Java consultant with 5+ years of experience with complex and large scale application development and support using JAVA and Oracle based technologies.
  • 5+ years working experience with JAVA/JEE, JAVA design patterns, web based development and open source technologies supporting JAVA based development.
  • 5+ years experience working with struts, spring, hibernate/JPA or other ORM tool and web services related technology required.
  • 5+ years working experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SLQ required.
  • 2+ years experience creating technical design like class diagram and sequence diagram is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in DevOps, deployment process, testing cycle is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with WebLogic or equivalent application server , jDeveloper or equivalent IDE, UNIX shell scripting and UML are preferred.
  • Candidate should be able to translate functional requirement and data model to technical design and implementation
  • Strong analytical skill and knowledge and experience of creating common framework and classes are strongly preferred.
  • Candidate should be an excellent team player with ability to do research and provide resolution independently. Excellent communication skill is required.
  • 5+ years with application development in JAVA, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript, Design patterns, html, jDeveloper or equivalent IDE and WebLogic or equivalent application server.
  • 5+ years development with struts, spring, hibernate, and JPA
  • 5+ years with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL writing and tuning.
  • 5+ years with translating functional requirement and data model to technical design and implementation.
  • 2+ years with web service development and XML file handing.
  • 2+ years with scheduling automated scripts and creating cross system interfaces.
  • 2+ years of functional knowledge and experience working with financial and human resource business processes.
  • 2+ years of DevOps, testing cycle, deployment process and support
