This role will have the primary accountability of implementing and designing the company's microservice based system as well as development of frontend web interfaces.
Solid Java 8 or higher , Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, PostgreSQL and MongoDB knowledge is essential!
A successful candidate must have strong software engineering, algorithmic competency, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Write and maintain exemplary backend and frontend code following the company's programming practices.
Create JUnit tests in accordance with our established standards.
Develop new business features in a fast paced work environment.
Architecture design of the company's microservice based platform.
Troubleshooting and benchmarking performance of the backend services.
Qualifications:
5+ years related professional experience using modern Java, Spring Boot and JDK ecosystem of tools and libraries.
3+ years of experience building web user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern meta framework like Angular or Next.js.
Some Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL and ORM like Hibernate.
Experience with Redis for caching.
Familiarity with the microservice architecture.
Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, design patterns and best coding practices.
Experience with containerization, automation and CI/CD tools and platforms.
Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
Some working knowledge of web and network protocols and standards (HTTP, TLS, DNS, etc.).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience.
Experience working in a highly distributed company is a plus.
Experience with Prometheus/Grafana for metrics aggregation/visualization is plus.
