Java Developer -Prime Vendor Requirement

 

Location: Ann Arbor, MI (Hybrid- Should work on Site)

Duration: Long-term

 

Job Description

 

This role will be with our eCommerce Java development team. This position is for local candidates who are required to be in office as needed. 

 

Job Requirements

  • 4 to 5 years of overall software development experience? 
  • Proficient in Core Java 1.8 and above? 
  • Demonstrable experience with Spring Framework 5.x, Spring Boot 2.x or higher.? 
  • Demonstrable experience with Restful web services using JSON (? 
  • Demonstrable experience with Agile and Test Driven development? 
  • Demonstrable experience with JUnit, Mockito, Assert-J? 
  • Demonstrable experience with backend small services in a micro-service architecture? 
  • Experience with JMS and ActiveMQ? 
  • Experience with database access using Spring JDBC template, JPA, Hibernate (against SQL Server, preferred but not required)? 
  • Experience with build tools like Maven? 
  • Experience with using the IntelliJ IDE? 
  • High-level understanding of in-memory distributed data storage systems like memcache, ehcache, Hazelcast? 
  • Working knowledge of MacOS, Unix, and Linux
