JJava Developer Job - Remote - Work From Home

CLIENT NOTES:
1. I still need this. We really need people as close to 10 years of experience as possible if not over 10.
2. Absolutely no 5-7 year people. Strong backend Java, experience with Java 8 along with Microservices and Cloud.
3. Need either GCP, AWS, or Azure for cloud

5. Job location: Remote, work from home till COVID situation settles
6. Interviews: Telephonic
7. Priority: Very high
8. Visa: Open
9. Rate: $60hr AI on C2C/1099 - Fixed and non-negotiable

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
1. Microservices, Java 8, Spring Boot, and GCP are all key for this role
2. Not looking for an architect…wants an engineer
3. Candidates haven’t been able to describe whats on their resume
4. Deploying spring boot services and cloud
5. GCP is great, but if they have another cloud that’s fine too
6. Ask them if they know in Java 8, Microservices, have they developed spring boot, and not just released into production

Responsibilities:
1. Coding, testing and analyzing application software Improve existing code to ensure optimal functionality of web applications.
2. Maintain existing programs and applications Evaluate and increase application software effectiveness Technology competencies could include: Java, HTML, CSS, ASP, .NET, and Tibco.
3. Collaborate and work closely with business analysts and team members to provide IT and business-specific knowledge and expertise, and create solutions that are aligned with business directives.
4. Work closely with testers to spot bugs in programming code and fix any resulting issues.
5. Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
2. 1-3 years of relevant work experience
