Java with Cassandra & Elastic Search
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
W2 Contract
Responsibilities:
8 or more years of experience in Java application development; including 2 years (or 2 recent projects) of strong hands on knowledge with full implementation of Elasticsearch.
Strong experience in ELK (elasticsearch, logstash and kibana) stack.
Strong experience in SQL (Oracle) and writing complex queries with joins and aggregates.
Strong experience in building JSP/Servlet based GUIs with JQuery or other JavaScript libraries for dashboard views over reporting databases.
Experience in Core Java and J2EE technologies like, JMS, JSP, Servlets, Struts/Spring, Spring boot; Apache, Confluent, Kafka, Spark.
Mandatory Experience in Cassandra. Solr exp preferable
Ability to perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning
Strong skills in In-memory applications, Database Design, Data Integration.
Experience in cloud environment.
