Job Title:Java backend

Location: San Diego CA or Mountainview CA(Remote)

Duration: 12+ Months contract

Visa: No OPT and CPT

Job Description:

Participate in the design, development, test automation, documentation and integration of the next generation Enterprise Identity Provisioning system in the cloud.
Contribute to changes to existing Identity Management components as needed to enable migration from current on-prem solution to next gen in the cloud.
Gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, and perform project and test planning.
Roughly 80% hands-on coding (new code, modifying existing code, testing automation). Design / develop / maintain backend software – includes enhancements, bug fixes and PoCs.
Implement full SDLC lifecycle including CI/CD in the cloud.
Participate as part of an agile development team
Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, various product lines, and business units.
Communicate, document, and distill technical information to team members and partner organizations.

Must Have:

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
8+ years in Java development
Experience in spring-boot framework (must)
Experience in spring-jpa (must)
Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with Karate/Cucumber (Testing Automation Framework) a plus
Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process
Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical
issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-managed individual with solid troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have:

Experience in spring-batch
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), IAM, STS, and API integrations
Recent JIRA, Github, and Java experience
Strong understanding of identity and access management technologies
Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer facing applications.
Experience in functional and performance testing automation and execution.
