Job Title: Java/AWS Developer

Location: Malvern PA

Job Description:

This contractor will be a developer and will focus on enhancing and maintaining the needs of the existing applications along with building new solutions. This contractor will work closely with the Tech Lead and the team to build pipelines, test and deploy applications. Initiatives that the contractor will participate in include the maintenance of two event-based serverless applications build on AWS serverless technologies, maintenance of one vendor product running in the AWS cloud, and the design and implementation of a novel cloud native application for text analytics.

3+ years development experience or equivalent. Python or JavaScript, shell scripting, AWS Cloud Formation or similar cloud automation experience

Nice to have:

Data engineering/ETL experience, AWS services (S3, IAM, Glue, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Transcribe), experience with Genesys Cloud (SaaS), experience with text analytics/machine learning.
Experience working in an Agile framework is a plus. Experience in system and/or software design is a plus.
