Job Profile Summary

Need a strong Developer/Production Support Analyst with specialized skills working with our client's Core Banking platform ICBS/Signature to Jack Henry.

Duties & Responsibilities

This engagement is to work within a team of 11 members who support a suite of financial applications in a NYC Bank. Bank is currently undergoing migration of their Core Banking platform ICBS/Signature to Jack Henry. The candidate's primary function will be to support the currently on-going implementation of Jack Henry products majorly and provide secondary/back-up production support for ICBS/Signature.

Skills Required

Experience in supporting any or multiple of the Jack Henry (JHA) application like Silverlake, XPerience, Synergy, EWF, SL Teller, 4Sight, CPS, Banno, Netteller Client, Branch Anywhere, iPay, EPS, OutLink IP, Treasury Management
Experience working with windows servers – installing, maintaining, troubleshooting programs in windows environment.
Take ownership of various Jack Henry application products and ensure they are up and running.
Thoroughly understand application products to provide Production Support, upgrading, troubleshooting and documenting for other team members.
Work closely with Project Manager/SME to identify and analyze detailed processes, identify gaps and develop technical solutions that support overall strategy and goals.
Ability to understand business requirements and present comprehensive, logical solutions.
Provide development estimates and raise any roadblocks towards building the solutions.
Work closely with application vendors and IT-Infrastructure Team to implement, upgrade and test applications in UAT, Production and BC/DR Environment.
Troubleshoot issues by identifying the origination systems involved and depict the source of issues.
Document System/Design Specifications, Program documentation etc. as per Bank's SDLC policy.
Maintain Development Issues Log to keep track of on-going development issues and for timely resolution of priorities.
Ensure quality standards are maintained across development efforts example proper version control and up-to-date program documentation.
Experience building various application interfaces.
Basic knowledge of working with SQL Server 2012-2019 hosted in a virtualized windows server environment.
Familiar working with active directory accounts/SQL account for communicating to DB server.
Perform unit and regression testing.
Good communication skills to work with internal and external 3rd party applications Production Support and Development teams to resolve issues, perform upgrades/enhancements etc.
Willing to support client's nightly core banking end of day processes on a monthly rotation basis.
Proven ability to proactively work independently on multiple tasks based on priority.
Ability to interact and be a team player in a very diverse group.

Skills Preferred

5-10 years of experience
Knowledge of JHA application products - Silverlake, XPerience, Synergy, EWF, SL Teller, 4Sight, CPS, Banno, Netteller Client, Branch Anywhere, iPay, EPS, OutLink IP, Treasury Management
Client ICBS/CBS knowledge while not mandatory but a major plus for secondary/back-up support - iSeries operating system, DB2, RPG IV/ILE knowledge. Some familiarity would help in order to get trained on the back-up prod support responsibilities.
Scripting - windows batch, unix shell, vbscript, powershell, javascript
Database technologies - SQL server, Oracle PL/SQL, ETL tools – SSIS, Discovery Hub
Web technologies - IIS, Apache Tomcat, html, Web services, Mulesoft
File transfer - ftp, sftp
Scheduling tools - Autosys, CA workload automation
Reporting tools- Crystal, Cognos, Qlik
