Note:
The primary responsibility for this position is the manual testing of ETL within a large data warehouse and verifying the output the data warehouse creates. Selected individuals should have experience working with large volumes of data and understand how the data will be transformed when added to the Data Warehouse. Individuals will need to have strong SQL skills, writing/executing complex queries, and performing data validation. Testers will be tasked with designing, creating, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual/ back-end testing) related to the Data Warehouse.

IT Tester
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

Writing test cases, creating test scenarios, executing tests scripts and analyzing test results
Star schema data warehouse design
Data warehouse ETL and Business Intelligence (BI) testing
MS SQL Server 2008 r2 and above
Writing complex SQL queries to test data transformations/business rules
Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Defect/bug management and familiarity with defect management tools (Bugzilla, JIRA, etc

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas is desirable but not mandatory:
JIRA
Test Management Tools such as JAMA, JIRA Zephyr, or Rational Test Manager
z/OS DB2
PowerBI
Education industry experience
