Role: IT Project Manager III
Location: Deerfield, IL
Duration: 12 Month

Description:
Responsible for the quality and delivery of systems and or service commitments on schedule, using assigned internal/external resources and following standards.
Manage/lead all phases beginning to end of the project. Assist clients in identifying, understanding and responding to opportunities for cost-effective innovation and adherence to corporate policies.
Manage activities of all internal/external resources on projects or service deliverables. May be accountable for one or more business systems, technologies and/or vendors.
Accountable for large (cornerstone/enterprise) project demonstrate solid technical knowledge, demonstrate strong business knowledge, require limited direction, give significant direction, handle highly complex problems, possesses extensive knowledge of project development processes and/or SDLC, have strong communication and interpersonal skill
Manage/lead entire project or service including technical solution, implementation, support and quality. Understand and direct/participate in all phases of project implementation on
Prioritize work and schedules.
Review project team deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc and adherence standards/regulatory requirements.
Interact with customers to understand their business and to anticipate IT solutions based on business and technical knowledge. Manage the customer relationship with business project sponsor.
Provide direct supervision and mentoring of project team member during the project. Provide project performance feedback to the team members supervisor/manager Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed above satisfactorily and demonstrated in prior work experience.
Expert in project management/processes and/or SDLC. Strong business acumen.
Solid presentation skills, oral and written communication skills and teamwork skills. Strong influencing skills.
Proven track record on delivering large scale projects. Prudent risk taker. Leadership experience.

Project Management Certification preferred.
Demonstrated history of successful project delivery Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or relevant work experience. 10- 15 years of systems experience including 3+ years of project leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a senior-level IT PM/ Business analyst position.
The Project Manager/Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for leading and managing the deliverables and project team
Define the overall project timeline including vendor deliverables and timeline
Learn the business partners processes, structure and requirements
Partner with system owner, business and vendor to shape and deliver the overall solutions
This role will be part of the R&D IT team, supporting the Regulatory Affairs, Global Patient Safety, Medical Affairs and Clinical Affairs portfolio of projects
Experience with Advertising and Promotions business process and or solutions is preferred

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

Project Management:
Implemented a new validated SaaS software vendor solution from beginning to end, including system integrations
Led the work effort of other business analysts on a large project
Track record of leading successful projects from start to finish as the
lead Project Manager with full project and SDLC lifecycle implementation
Understanding and appreciation of processes/procedures and governance required to lead projects
Led teams in a matrix environment consisting of various types of roles and skill sets
Ability to facilitate and coordinate meetings in an effective manner
Ability to deal with tight timelines, limited resources and still deliver on time and within scope
Communicate status, solutions and concerns
Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team and across functions
Maintains project schedule, logs of issues, risks, decisions and advises leadership team and business lead on deviations

Business Analysis:
Strong business analysis skills, background in business analysis required.
Lead requirements gathering across multiple global functional teams for configure workflows, reports and dashboards.
Assist business and vendor with defining the plan to transfer existing files to the new system and the verification procedure.
Review and update documented processes where required to reflect changes in processes based on requirement updates and or tool features and functions.
Collaborate with the software vendor (i.e., understanding the capabilities of the software vendor solution and identifying gaps/mitigations, resolving test defects, etc.
Design and lead the testing effort for a new software solution including validation testing as needed.
Work with a Junior Business Analyst and vendor to review and update requirements, process documentation, define configurations, reports, manage UAT and data transfer and verification from current solution.
