The BI Program Manager is essential to the success of the business Intelligence organization. The business Intelligence organization is a part of the larger Information Management Services (IMS) group. The Program Manager will bring a blend of relationship management, project management and business analytics to ensure clients are meeting both internal and external project goals. This person will lead the initial client consultation where project goals and objectives will be defined. As the project progresses the Program Manager will provide ongoing support by applying the right resources at the right time taking into consideration project goals and objectives with project success in mind.

Engagement for BI, MDM, Integrations, and Advance Analytics related presentations and specific project representation with multiple levels of Management throughout the organization. Responsible for leading assigned BI/IMS initiatives in meeting departmental goals. Determines user demands, sets priorities, plans and completes work on assigned projects. Project management responsibilities include managing scope, budget, and schedule for IMS development projects.

Position Responsibilities:
This position will have direct interaction with clients within the Twin Cities area requiring face to face interaction with business stakeholders ? Work estimate creation, and attendant responsibilities for estimate and timeline publication.
Responsible for Resource Management relating to initial project assignments and task management throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
Responsible for quality oversight for all project deliverables.
Design, develop, program and implement applications which support business objectives in a timely and efficient manner.
Establish project teams composed of business users, IT, process team and infrastructure personnel.
Prepare and present oral and written progress reports.
Assist with budgeting and reporting.
Work with business leaders to assure project goals and execution is in alignment with business goals.
Provide guidance in meeting established goals to project team members.
Communicate with the business community in problem resolution and enhancement definition.
Aid in the establishment of department standards and procedures, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Monitor project team member performance as related to assigned projects.

Basic Qualifications:
Broad knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) Applications and their capabilities.
Deep understanding of implementation strategies and protocols, with the ability to translate into actionable project activities and approaches.
Experience with MS Project and other project management related applications.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
Comprehensive understanding of complex software IT reporting solutions and ability to apply to client needs.
Solid understanding of system development methodologies.
Experience in the development and support of integrated business applications process definition, requirements definition and technology solution research ? Experience in facilitating small to large groups through challenging discussions ? Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, and SAP related reporting tools ? Experience implementing traditional and modern data and analytics platforms such as Oracle, HANA, Snowflake, Hadoop and other related platforms ? Collaboration skills to proactively interact with and manage Data Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, Functional Users, and other team members throughout the project life cycle.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus ? Knowledge and experience in the medical device industry ? Strong interpersonal, oral presentation, and written communications skills ? Ability to understand end-audience needs and requirements ? Ability to work collaboratively ? Strong process development and analysis skills ? Prioritization skills
