Job Description :

QUALIFICATIONS.

  • 4+ years of experience in iSeries programming languages.
    • RPG IV, RPG Free-form, CL, DDS and knowledgeable of ILE features including service programs, sub procedures and module binding.
    • Subfile programming, RLU, SDA, journalling, and IFS.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL techniques.
    • Embedded SQL, stored procedures interactive SQL, and QM Query.
    • Knowledge of developing physical and logical files using DDS.
    • Experience using DBU.
  • 4+ years of experience with software methodologies.
  • Experience with source and object control tools, i.e., RDI is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of interfaces and connectivity to other platforms, i.e., web services, REST, and SOAP.
  • Knowledge of change management software, i.e., Turnover and ALDON.
  • Experience in Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jira, or any ticketing system is more advantageous.
  • Familiar with key ITIL processes, i.e., continuous improvement, change, incident, problem, release, and service request management.
  • Understanding of any iSeries applications, i.e., LMS, Infinium, or Kronos is beneficial.
  • Knowledgeable with industry standard system analysis techniques, i.e., data modeling, process modeling, data flow diagramming, Unified Modeling Language, business process reengineering, and continuous process improvement.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices.
  • Strong technical background and knowledgeable with fulfilling detailed project specifications; able to adapt to a variety of technologies.
  • Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experienced in reviewing code; efficiently troubleshooting problems.
  • Able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work with all backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work various shifts if needed.
