Candidate could get any variety of tasks, prototyping, research, collaboration with vendors.
Ways they receive projects:
1. People in market come up with a problem, can you look into this.
2. Keeping up with trends and vents of IoT.
3. Product team that prioritizes problems from a business standpoints.
IIoT is the main gap on the team. But candidate will need to be open to working in a number of areas of emerging tech. Would prefer someone to come from a retail background but open for the right candidate.
Experience in remote deployment of IIoT, 4G, 5G, edge computing.
Some things outside IIoT would be cloud infrastructure, architecture diagrams, infosec teams, microcontroller work, 3D printing. Smartmirror’s, sensors.
Building automation controls, any wireless communication.Soft Skills.
