Duties and responsibilities
Solid background in data services, ETL pipelines and schedulers
Sound knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL with commercial experience in PostgreSQL, familiarity with Oracle a plus
Working knowledge of AWS relational database technologies (Aurora, RDS)
Understanding of signed and implemented operational data stores, as well as data lakes in production environments
Data modeling skills and familiarity with BI reporting tools (like tableau)
Comfortable with core Java technologies and database libraries
Prior experience in implementing data processing pipelines and resilient messaging services
Ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments
Works well in both a small agile team and independently, having a strong user focus
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time
Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipeline
