Role: Integration Architect (IIB and APIC must)
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: Long term contract Rate: $/hr Job description:Required Skills:1. Experience designing REST APIs that facilitate a strong developer experience or simplify systems integration. 2. Significant experience with systems integration. 3. Experience with the design and development of complex systems; employs a disciplined and rigorous approach4. Adept at requirements analysis, estimation, systems and application design, and testing5. Familiarity with popular Design Patterns. 6. Excellent collaboration, influencing, and consensus-building skills. Ability to work with persons in all job functions (e. g. product, program, developers, Salesforce COE7. Excellent verbal and written communications8. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision. Self-directed9. A great team player, with demonstrable experience delivering superior software products via Agile methodologies10. Experience on an Agile team11. Experience with modern languages, frameworks, and technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Node. js, messaging queuing infrastructures, as well as cloud and on premise infrastructure and services12. Experience with distributed computing architectures, including race conditions, parallelism, and concurrency control. Desired Skills1. Familiar with the IBM Technology stack – APIc API Platform, IIB Orchestration layer, eXtreme scale – or similar technology stack for integration design2. Familiar with a data streaming technology such as Kafka3. A proven track record working as part of a team on large architectural projects4. Experience with SAFe Software Development Principles5. Experience with distributed caching solutions; understands the factors that enable effective caching6. Meeting facilitation7. Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps8. Experience with RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases. Understands the benefits and trade-offs of both. Familiar with normalization and demoralization, shading, and other data-centric patterns
