LOCATION: AUSTIN, TX

RATE: $55-$65 on C2C | $90-$100K on W2 | $110-$120K on 1099

The Information Technology Developer II should have expertise in the following:

  • IBM Integration Bus V10/ACE v11/v12 & IBM MQ V8/9
  • IIB Error & Exception handling
  • Programming languages - Java, ESQL
  • Data formats - XML, CSV, Delimited & flat files
  • Webservices – REST & SOAP
  • Preferred Healthcare standards HL7, Data Power, APIC, IBM Transformation Extender, and Python
  • Designs, develops, and implements strategic architectures of healthcare interfaces at an enterprise level
  • Understands methodology, design, specifications, programming, delivery, monitoring, and support standards
  • Participates in strategic planning activities and researches emerging Internet technology, programming languages, and e-business standards for use in new or existing enterprise application/systems
  • May work independently or as a member of a cross-functional team that deals with the entire range of information management technology
  • Installs, configures, and verifies the operation of software components

In addition, the developer is responsible for the following:

  • System Management: Participates in the development of standards and designs and implements proactive processes to collect and report data and statistics on assigned systems
  • System Security: Participates in the research, design, development, and implementation of application, database, and interface security using technologies such as SSL, Public-Key encryption, and Certificates or other emerging security technologies
  • System Support: Provides on-call and after-hours support coverage to maintain the production systems that the department supports
