Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Operations Engineer to manage, maintain, and support IT infrastructure systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security. The role involves monitoring infrastructure environments, troubleshooting issues, and supporting day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization platforms.
Provide day-to-day operational support for infrastructure systems and services.
Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and performance issues.
Manage system backups, patching, and upgrades to ensure stability and security.
Support incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure improvements.
Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure operations or system administration.
Experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking.
Knowledge of monitoring tools, backup solutions, and infrastructure management.
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management tools.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automation tools or scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, VMware, or AWS/Azure certifications.
