Role : Information Technology Project Manager (Onsite)
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Only LOCAL Candidates)
Duration : 6+ Months
Job Description:
Scope of Work:
- Oversee overall project progress and ensure timely, on-scope, and on-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure adequate resourcing and alignment with project timelines.
- Monitor staffing levels across all phases and adjust resources as needed.
- Ensure all staffing and scheduling activities align with contractual requirements and project deadlines.
- Document technical and business requirements that can be clearly interpreted by technical staff.
- Lead projects involving multiple technologies, teams, and business functions.
- Apply project management best practices, including change management and resource planning.
- Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams on large-scale software implementation projects.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in project management, including large-scale software implementation projects and multi-project environments.
- Valid Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technologies and cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven experience coordinating with technical teams, including developers and system analysts.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements.
- Deep understanding of web-based application architecture and systems development life cycle.
- Proficient in project management tools and resource planning methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
