Job Description :
Extensive experience in IM domain area - information management and governance, content, record and archival management, compliance, data protection, information security, capture etc.
Experience in assessment, consulting, defining functional and solution requirements, defining/ modeling processes, defining taxonomy, defining governance models of various enterprise content management systems and systems of records – SharePoint, Filenet, Documentum etc.
Experience in developing processes for managing electronic and physical information throughout the information lifecycle regardless of source or format (data, paper documents, electronic documents, audio, social business, video, etc for delivery through various channels.
Extensive experience in designing and developing record and information management solution to manage record lifecycle for physical, electronic, hybrid records. Assist in administration of records management program, including policy adherence, providing guidelines, assisting in digital implementation and defining automated methods to detect associated preservation orders.
Manage information retention and archiving to ensure proper mechanisms in support of Information Retention policies. Develop and manage processes that facilitate corporate information management policies regarding information and record retention.
Demonstrate subject matter expertise in specific IM process or set of processes – e.g. retention, auto classification, records retention, IM tools and repositories, etc.
Documentation and maintenance of IM best practice guidance within content management platforms, develop information retention guidance documents, develop records retention guidance documents
Collaborate with business units, leadership and architects to gather business requirements and designing/documenting processes. Inform, advise and gain alignment on ongoing and future information management initiatives
Consults architects to include architecture, performance, supportability, and security considerations when designing enhancements for selected Systems of Record
Provide training for users to become familiar with IM policies, processes, technologies and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and handle direct client interaction, client meetings etc.
