Title: Informatica EDC/AXON Engineer
Location: Winters Complex, 701 W. 51st Street, Austin, Tx 78751
Duration: Until 8/31/2021 with possible extension upto 8/31/2022

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: (Required)
HHSC IT is currently implementing a Analytics Platform with Informatica PowerCenter, Snowflake and AWS technologies as well as Informatica Axon Data Governance with a goal to accomplish improved COVID-19 reporting.
Responsible for development using Informatica Data Governance (Axon), EDC, Data Quality, and PowerCenter
Assist DSHS program area use of the IDDI Platform to its fullest potential
Resolve any data source ingestion issues
Provide administration support for Informatica EDC, Axon, Power Center, and Data Quality which includes installation, configuration, upgrades and business continuity support
Operationalize ingestion of new data sources as needed
Other work includes, but is not limited to:
Validation of performance metric requirements
Creation of EPICS/User Stories
Creation and validation of dashboard and report mock-ups
Automation of data acquisition from a variety of data sources
Dashboard and report development
Testing – integration, load and stress, and user
Deployment / publication internally and externally
Operations support and enhancement of the IDDI platform
All other duties as assigned

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Required)
Minimum (Required):
Years Skills/Experience
8 Hands on Informatica Data Governance (Axon), EDC, Data Quality, and PowerCenter experience.
4 Provide administration support for Informatica EDC, Axon, Power Center, and Data Quality which includes installation, configuration, upgrades and business continuity support.
4 Hands on experience configuring EDC and Axon, including but not limited to business glossaries, dashboards, policies, search, and process maps.
4 Experience creating scripts to automate Informatica administration tasks, schedules, and deployment activities.
4 Demonstrated experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting activities.
6 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6 Effectively manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize conflicting assignments, and switch quickly between assignments, as required.
Degree Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business or equivalent experience.

Years Skills/Experience
2+ Experience working in an agile sprint team.
3+ Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry
2+ Prior experience with an HHS agency
