Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Informatica Analyst to lead the design, development, and optimization of data integration and transformation solutions using Informatica tools. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in ETL development, data analysis, and data warehousing, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data processes. This role requires both technical and analytical expertise to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across enterprise systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter or related Informatica tools.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements.Translate business needs into technical specifications and data integration designs.Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure high data quality.Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.Maintain and enhance existing ETL processes and data pipelines.Support data warehousing initiatives, including data modeling, dimensional design, and metadata management.Conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues in data extraction, transformation, and loading.Develop and maintain technical documentation for all ETL processes and workflows.Collaborate with database administrators, data architects, and business teams to ensure smooth data operations.

Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.10–15 years of hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter development and data integration.Deep understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and data modeling techniques.Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with experience working on major RDBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake, etc.).Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Informatica mappings and sessions.Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.Familiarity with cloud-based data integration platforms (Informatica Cloud, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).Experience in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred SkillsExperience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).Exposure to big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) or data lake architectures.Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.Background in finance, healthcare, or retail data environments is a plus.Experience integrating data from cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
