This position will work 2nd shift (3 pm to 11:30 pm). Overtime is possible. They will join the weekend rotation (on call weekend support) every 8th weekend.
See attachment for job duties/requirements. Manager is looking for candidates with at least a 2-year degree in Industrial Technology, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical fields. Must have 2 or more years of experience working with Fanuc robot programming.
Will need metatarsals for first day, business casual dress code. Person may drive a Deere owned Gator after successfully completing training. Could also drive personal vehicle to other sites for meetings. Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position. Interviews will take place through MS Teams and the position will start onsite on the first day.
What you’ll Do
As a Industrial Robotics, Programmer with John Deere Waterloo Works, located in Waterloo, IA you will assist in the
development, integration and support of current and future automated manufacturing systems. In addition you will:
· Proficient in the following software programs: FANUC TPP, Microsoft Office
· Work closely with manufacturing engineers, facility engineers, supervisors and wage personnel to support
existing production robotic systems
What It Takes
We need a solid communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment. Ideally, you will have a
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering discipline. In addition, we
require:
· 2+ yrs Experience with robot programming (FANUC)
· Proficiency with Microsoft office programs
A strong candidate will also have:
· FANUC Robo guide software
· CREO/AutoCAD
· Experience programming Allen Bradley HMI’s/PLC’s (RSLogix)
· Controls engineering (electrical and pneumatic)
· Experience performing and analyzing FMEA.
This position is eligible for incremental, progressive retention bonuses at every 90 days for the first year on assignment. Retention bonuses are forfeited for those who do not complete their assignments or end assignments early. Subject to review.
