Role: IIB developer Location: Pasadena CA Duration: Long Term Job Description: Bachelor's degree required No Visa Restrictions MUST BE LOCAL AS THIS IS ONLY A TEMPORY REMOTE. Spring Boot - Experienced (8+ years) DevOps engineer. Primary skills - Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate are must have skills. Nice to Have skills: - Cassandra, Oracle, MongoDB, ELK Stack (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana), App Dynamics, CI/CD (Preferably GoCD or Concourse pipelines Would prefer to have someone with prior DevOps background/experience. As a DevOps engineer, the candidate will be expected to do Level 3 Production support for the applications supported. The duration of production support is weekly rotating amongst 10-15 people onshore. So, in effect, the requirement for production support per person will come for a person once every 2.5 months or so for a week duration. Additional Job Details: Role Description: Design, develop, test, configure and maintain the applications to meet business processes and application requirements. Must Have Skills: Spring Boot Java 8, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Cassandra, Oracle, Tomcat 8, GIT, SoAP and RESTful Services, Angular Well versed with Microservices architecture Good to Have Skills: Cloudfoundry, AWS, GraphQL, Swagger, Hibernate, NodeJS , Unix, RabbitMQ, Containers, Python Key Responsibilities: Responsible for developing architecture frameworks using JEE technologies. Should possess application development experience in Java 7/8, Spring Framework, Spring Boot following industry recognized software development life cycle. Experience with designing and developing micro services Restful based applications Deploy and maintain the applications in the Lower/Prod environments Experience in CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, GoCD, Concourse Maintain and improve existing applications Application support experience, having experience in monitoring tools such as AppD, ELK Graphana etc would be a plus. Assist in the development of standards, procedures and guidelines to improve the development process Good Team Player Agile SCRUM delivery methodology
