Notes:
This is someone who is a true admin, no development work. They need someone who can help support and administer their IBM tool, Sterling File Gateway
Preference is local candidates who can go onsite to interview/be onsite in RI – please start here but if we are exhausting our search, they are open to someone who is non-local/skype and someone who will relocate.
Ideally wants this person to convert to an FTE down the road, so please focus on candidates without sponsorship restraints but again, they will be interested in someone who cannot convert without sponsorship if they have all of the below requirements
This person will be working with other teams internally to understand bugs and issues with the application then will work with CVS’ external partners from there
We are looking for a contractor to support our implementation of IBM Business to Business Gateway utilizing the Sterling family of components.
Required Qualifications:
· Administer/tune/support the Sterling File Gateway Application
· Ability to troubleshoot issues related to communication between the Sterling File Gateway components and external trading partners.
· Fundamental understanding of load balancers and firewalls
· Experience applying Sterling File Gateway patches and upgrades
· Ability to work with Network Engineers, Unix Administrators and DBAs
Nice to Have:
· Familiarity with IBM Control Center, IBM MQ Series, IBM Sterling Secure Proxy Engine.
· Familiarity with IBM Sterling File Gateway Business Processes
· Local to the Providence/Boston Area
