Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Maximo Architect with extensive expertise in IBM Maximo Asset Management, particularly in the utility industry, to join our team. This role will be instrumental in driving strategic direction, problem-solving, and ensuring our Maximo implementations provide maximum value. The successful candidate will help lead the migration of Maximo from version 7.6 to 9.1 and support both Corporate and Transmission & Distribution (T&D) instances.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
o Set the strategic direction for Maximo implementations to align with organizational goals.
o Define a roadmap for optimizing Maximo functionality and ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
o Lead efforts to simplify the environment and streamline processes to enhance system efficiency.
Migration Expertise:
o Drive the migration from Maximo 7.6 to 9.1, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
o Lead data migration, integration, and configuration efforts to minimize downtime and disruption.
Optimization and Problem-Solving:
o Identify and implement optimization opportunities within Corporate and T&D Maximo environments.
o Address system challenges and develop innovative solutions to enhance operational performance.
o Ensure the system supports business processes effectively, focusing on usability and scalability.
Collaboration and Guidance:
o Work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to define and achieve Maximo-related objectives.
o Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to maximize team capabilities.
Utility Industry Expertise:
o Leverage extensive experience in the utility industry to adapt Maximo for specific operational needs.
o Drive initiatives to enhance the value and efficiency of Maximo in supporting utility operations.
Qualifications:
Experience:
o 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management, with at least 5 years in an architect role.
o Proven track record of leading Maximo implementations, migrations, and optimizations in the utility industry.
o Deep understanding of Maximo 7.6 and 9.1 features, functionalities, and integration capabilities.
Technical Skills:
o Expertise in Maximo configuration, customization, and data modeling.
o Experience with integrating Maximo with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, GIS, SCADA).
o Strong knowledge of database technologies, cloud solutions, and API integrations related to Maximo.
