Role :- IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Presales Architect
Location: Dallas, Texas
Type :- FTE
Travel:
Ability to travel as required (up to 40%)
Overview:
As an IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Presales Architect, you will play a critical role in the pre-sales process by providing technical expertise and thought leadership in IBM's Maximo portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass client presentations, solution demonstrations, and the design of architecture proposals that align with customer needs and IBM best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design and Architecture:
Provide architecture and solutions for IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
Align technical solutions with client requirements, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and alignment with IBM's product strategy.
Solution prototypes, demonstrations, and proof of concepts (POCs) to showcase capabilities and features of IBM Maximo Suite (MAS) solution
2. Technical Expertise and Consultation:
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS), including components like Maximo Manage, Maximo Monitor, Maximo Health and Predict and other relevant MAS offerings.
Provide high level technical knowledge of IBM MAS, including architecture, out of the box solution, configuration, integration, and deployment.
Advise clients on best practices for deploying and using IBM MAS to maximize value and efficiency.
3. Client Engagement:
Engage with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals related to asset management and IoT.
Deliver presentations and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value proposition of IBM MAS.
Conduct short discovery sessions, workshops, and technical deep dives to gather detailed client requirements.
4. Sales Support:
Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute strategic account plans.
Support the sales cycle by responding to RFPs/RFIs, creating solution proposals, and preparing technical documentation.
Assist in developing business cases and ROI models to justify the investment in IBM MAS.
Provide IBM MAS enablement and training to sales team, ensuring they are equipped to promote and implement IBM MAS effectively.
5. Partner Collaboration:
Work with IBM and partners to design and deliver integrated solutions that leverage the capabilities of IBM MAS.
6. Market and Product Feedback:
Gather and analyse client and market feedback to inform product development and enhancement.
Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to asset management and IoT.
Qualifications:
Required:
Education:
Bachelor / Masters in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
Total Experience of 10 years plus, with 3+ years of experience in a technical presales or solutions architecture role, with a focus on enterprise software. Deep understanding of IBM MAS and at least one year working experience in IBM MAS package
Skills:
Proven expertise in IBM Maximo, including implementation, configuration, and integration.
Strong understanding of asset management, IoT, and related business processes.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for clients.
Experience with cloud technologies and SaaS solutions.
Experience in industries such as Energy & Utilities, HLS, Transportation, Manufacturing.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in IBM Maximo or related technologies are a plus.
Preferred:
Experience in industries such as Energy & Utilities, HLS, Transportation, Manufacturing.
Familiarity with competing EAM solutions and technologies.
Knowledge on other IBM solutions such as IBM Cloud pack, Watsonx, C4D, Envizi, IBM Environmental Intelligences Suite (EIS) – Vegetation Management etc.
