Job Title: Help Desk Support 3 Location: Des Moines, IA Duration: 12 Months Job Description: This position is needed to provide tier-one help desk support with technical issues via phone, email and ticketing system. They will provide network support for all users; which will include but is not limited to, setting up new desktops/laptops; design, configure and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software; update Inventory of electronic equipment as required; use sound judgment to escalate service requests and incidents when required. Approximately 25% of the department works offsite, candidates must be proficient in working over the phone with users. The Department uses Google G-Suite, along with many of the A e products, a Candidate with knowledge in both areas would be an asset. I need a sharp and teachable person with: Experience with Active Directory and Windows Security Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 2007, 2016, Google G Suite, and A e products Experience with Windows Operating Systems including Windows 7 and 10 along with Chrome OS VMWare Excellent customer service & communication skills including good phone experience with offsite users Required/Desired Skills Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience Provide Customer support to end users Required Years Manage Data Conversion effort from legacy system to new system Required Years Provide status updates to take holders Required Years Maintain a degree of self-management Required Years
