Title: HRIS Product Owner [XTG_14179]
Location: Bellevue, WA (Remote until Covid 19)
Type: 6+ Months Contract to Hire
Overview:
- Client is looking for an experienced HR System Product Owner to drive quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction within our Enterprise Systems team.
- As a HRIS Product Owner, you will be a key member of the Enterprise System team.
- The Product Owner works closely with the Enterprise Systems team and stakeholders across the business to define, create, and prioritize requests.
- The Product Owner will understand the proposed requests/changes impact on our HR Systems at Client.
- The candidate should have experience in creating custom integrations within Workday as well as system admin duties.
- This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Systems within Corporate IT and is based at Client headquarters in Bellevue, WA.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the voice of the internal customer- ability to articulate the product/system expectations
- Own, maintain, and prioritize the task backlog for our HR projects & systems
- Collaborate with various teams and prioritize new requirements
- Manage dependencies with cross functional teams within the systems and solutions
- Communicate trade-offs between customer expectations, team capacity, and technical feasibility to business owner stakeholders and align on prioritization
- Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and other SOX requirements related to IT General Controls - Perform and document IT General Controls Testing
- Document policies and procedures for Workday Business Processes
- Implement and follow change management procedures within enterprise applications
Requirements:
- 4+ years of relevant work experience, including system administration, and creating custom studio integrations, in Workday
- Hands-on working experience in the configuration, customization, and support of enterprise applications and reporting
- High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with ability to deliver within defined timelines
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical end user personnel in large enterprises
- Proven ability to drive projects from concept through completion
- Analyze, problem solve and clearly communicate observations and recommendations
- Strong understanding of the Agile process
- Strong knowledge SaaS architectures including integrations
- Training and certification as a professional scrum product owner (PSPO) or as a certified scrum product owner (CSPO) preferred
