JD:
Taxonomist/Data Management responsibilities

Fulfill new BAU requests
Use tool to fulfill new requests for meta data profiles associated with the introduction of new client facing document (the setup activity is used to define the template for which meta data is associated with each type of document)
Follow BAU procedures to created and promote the new meta data definition into production
Meet with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate into meta data requirements
Work with tech teams to test/implement new meta data definitions
Change Management process tracking
At least 3-5 yrs experience working with taxonomies for business (e.g., e-commerce or retail)
Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Library Sciences or Information Management
2-3 years of experience executing in Agile methodology (familiarity with managing Jira boards, and Scrum ceremonies)
Practical use of tools and software to extract and analyze data (e.g., Excel, Alteryx, etc; moderate knowledge of data modeling tools/methods to support recommendations
Demonstrated analytic and diagnostic skills
Demonstrated intermediate communication/listening skills
