Job Description :

Job Role: Kubernetes Engineer

Location: Remote

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of senior level experience in container technologies especially with Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service, setting up and building Kubernetes Clusters in Azure - Install, configure, Optimize, Nodes/PODs Scale-up and management.
  • Must have experience and ability to set-up required automation/DevOps pipeline primarily using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
  • 5+ years of experience of working with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Good working knowledge and experience about Azure Kubernetes Networking like Basic (Kubenet) as well Advance Networking (Azure CNI) and Network policies like Calico.
  • Experience of integrating Kubernetes Cluster (AKS) with Azure AD for RBAC, Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor and with external Code repository as well with Azure Container Repository.
  • Good experience of setting up Cluster level Ingress and Egress connectivity, especially working with NGNIX Ingress Controller.
  • Experience of working with HELM, YAML and JSON.
  • Experience of working with Linux (RHEL) and Windows environment.
  • Good understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Cloud scenarios including Disaster Recovery.
  • Leads from the front to solve complex, cross-functional issues that cross multiple technologies and can apply good analytic process to help with resolution.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to think “out of the box” required.
  • Must be able to work independently or with a team, under minimum supervision.
  • Good knowledge of scripting languages (powershell, python, etc.).

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Kubernetes: 5 years (Required)

Azure or AWS: 5 years (Required)
