The Healthcare Analyst analyzes clinical, financial, and operational healthcare data to support decision-making, improve patient outcomes, control costs, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role works closely with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams to translate data into actionable insights.
Analyze healthcare data (claims, EHR, utilization, quality, outcomes, cost, population health)
Identify trends, risks, and performance gaps in clinical and financial metrics
Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for leadership and stakeholders
Support value-based care, quality improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives
Conduct predictive and ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, etc.)
Collaborate with clinicians, finance, IT, and operations teams
Present findings and recommendations in clear, non-technical language
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
2–5 years of experience in healthcare analytics (payer, provider, consulting, or health tech)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Master’s degree (MPH, MHA, MS Analytics, MBA)
Experience with value-based care, population health, or quality reporting
Familiarity with CMS measures (HEDIS, STAR, ACO, MIPS)
