Google Cloud Solution Architect

100% Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Solution Architect to design, develop, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure successful cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud architectures using Google Cloud Platform services
Collaborate with business and technical teams to define cloud strategies
Migrate on-premises applications and infrastructure to GCP
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient
Develop architecture diagrams, documentation, and best practices
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
Stay updated with latest GCP technologies and trends

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, etc.)
Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and microservices
Experience with networking, security, and IAM in cloud
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
Understanding of DevOps tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Git)
Good problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification
Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Background in data engineering or machine learning (optional)
