Job Description :
Position: GoldenSource Developer
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 12 months contract

Job Description:


Responsibilities:
Design and development of the new instrument reference data module.
Conduct systems testing and support user acceptance testing
Dealing with day-to-day production problems and maintenance when the system is in production
Adhering to company development standards and procedures, including change control

Key skills:
Experience working as a GoldenSource Developer
Knowledge of the GoldenSource product
Experience in implementing and supporting the GoldenSource product in a financial institution
Minimum two years experience in Java and J2EE
Experience in using object oriented analysis, in particular UML
Experience with Publish/Subscribe messaging paradigms, distributed transaction processing based on JTA/JTS
Exposure to JBoss, JMS
GoldenSource Security master module
UNIX skills in particular Linux
Good relational database skills - Sybase, SQL Server, ORACLE
Experience of using JUnit and jMock
Experience of working with XML based technologies such as XSLT
