Title: Golden Image Management Engineer [BizID#6382] Location: Atlanta, GA Experience: 7+ years Job Description: Responsible for the requirements gathering, creation, and maintenance of standardized images for enterprise consumption. These images will be used by service owners as a safe and approved base to build their service. This role involves requirements gathering and collaboration across design, platform, security, testing, and development teams. A strong candidate will have the verbal and technical skills to communicate with a wide audience. Responsibilities include: Customer interviews and requirements gathering Creation of base images based upon customer feedback Image certification with security and industry standards Lifecycle Management of one major and two minor versions Image maintenance of patching and stable version release Release cycle within a week of going stable Image support Light development support Requirements Solid Kubernetes, Docker, and Container skillset Knowledge of container and virtual machine images and management Comfort with patch cycles and critical implementations Experience with Continuous Delivery
