Responsibilities:
As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, the Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading large engagements for one or more of the following areas:
• Infrastructure Modernization engagements ranging from VM migration, security design and implementation to large data center exit programs.
• Data Modernization engagements ranging from migrating data from on-prem to Google Cloud, enabling data lake and enterprise data warehouse transformations, implementing advanced analytics to building data driven capabilities.
• Application Modernization involving application migration, modernization to developing new capabilities using Google Cloud native features.
You will play a key role in delivering engagements successfully, managing stakeholders, planning for and managing to a program workplan, and managing right resourcing, execution and reporting.
You will work closely with North American Sales organization to support large pursuits and enabling sales to delivery for engagements. You will also work with Delivery organization for ensuring right resourcing, delivery excellence and management reporting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5 Years’ experience in leading large Cloud engagements, preferably on Google Cloud
• 10-15 Years of total experience
• Experience leading and managing teams
• Customer-facing experience in the enterprise space
• Experience developing and growing C-level relationships.
• Deep understanding of one or more three areas mentioned above and of business challenges in moving related workloads to public cloud
• Ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships across organizational boundaries
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
