Job Description :
GCP Architect
Location - (Preferred NY, we also open for any of on-sites post pandemic Atlanta, GA – Hartford, CT, Chantilly, VA)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly Preferred:
5+ years of overall experience, to include a minimum of 5 years of enterprise, full-life cycle in Architecture in the professional IT/Software Development services industry.
2+ years project experience migrating and deploying cloud based solutions (GCP)
2+ years architecting, implementing and supporting GCP infrastructure and topologies
Knowledge of AWS along with GCP is preferred
Good understanding of Infrastructure as a Service, Infrastructure as Code and related concepts on public cloud.
Container experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
Experience with tools such as ISTIO,
Experience with DevSecOps and tools such as CircleCI, Harness, Jenkins
Experience with various infrastructure monitoring tools such as New Relic, Sumlogic
Good understanding of secrets management, HashiCorp Vault is preferred
Experience developing cloud agnostic solution or working experience in multi-cloud environment
Understanding of Agile, SCRUM and Continuous Delivery
Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, coaching, analysis, problem solving and short term and long term planning. "

Responsibilities:
"Expert programming and technical design capabilities
Taking ownership of the technical customer expectation across multiple projects for that customer.
A competent decision maker in technical aspects and the ability to bridge the gap amongst all technical and non-technical stake holders
Ability to break down the complexity of the technical problem and provide solutions
Excellent technical presentation skills (documentation, presentations, discussions)
Competence in translating abstract functionality to architecture and design documents by understanding the client’s business
Strong verbal and written communication and ability to map conversations between business and technology.
Competence in defining the client’s requirements into a task based plan as an input to proper estimation
Taking the project to production and assisting in performance tuning as per client’s scenarios.
Team mentoring in each of the architecture/design decisions being taken
Mapping business requirements to a POC in a short period of time and transferring the knowledge to the development team
Understanding a large current code base and put down best practices to work on it

Required skills:
