Overview:
Responsible for granting and maintaining security for applications, networks and data throughout the organization or unit specified based on specific security requests. Follows processes for maintaining security with some review, with responsibility to refine security processes, standards, and definitions. Serves as security consultant with business owners. Understands and applies current Information Technology (IT) security policies to ensure adherence to standards established by Corporate Computer security. Understands and applies knowledge of security system parameters and tables utilized within existing security tools and various applications. Follows routine techniques and processes to resolve administrative issues. Uses analytical skills to resolve low to medium level security issues. Participates in various roles as a team member. Occasionally participates on multiple teams. Follows processes and actively looks for ways to improve the process. Performs some decision making when requests fall outside of the normal processes. Works on tasks and projects that are low to medium risk and of low to moderate complexity in nature, and where most errors are resolved by
documented processes. Duties: Administers user credentials. Coordinates and administers daily activities regarding overall maintenance of RACF, Network, User-ID, user groups, etc. to assure security integrity. Understands and applies current Information Technology (IT) security policies to ensure adherence to standards established by Corporate Computer security. Understands and applies knowledge of security system parameters and tables utilized within existing security tools and various applications. Follows routine techniques and processes to resolve administrative issues. Uses analytical skills to resolve low to medium level security issues. Participates in various roles as a team member. Occasionally participates on multiple teams. Assumes proportionate share of responsibility for an effective team and understands good teaming concepts. Takes part in projects directly related to existing processes and tools. Follows processes and actively looks for ways to improve the process. Performs some decision making when requests fall outside of the normal processes. Works on tasks and projects that are low to medium risk and of low to moderate complexity in nature, and where most errors are resolved by documented processes.

Primary Position Responsibilities & Duties
What are the most important, specific duties of this position?
Position holder be responsible for gaining knowledge of all security requirements in The Company and The Company''s environment. Position will own and maintain all security documentation for The Company''s environment. Position will work with GSEC (Global Security) owners to define or modify any security policies or processes for The Company and supplier/vendor user types. Create and modify supplier/vendor user types as required to support the business. Become expert on Security Access Maintenance (SAM), an internally developed role based security maintenance tool which secures The Company''s applications for internal users. Own, responds to and follow-up on all questions and issues related to The Company''s security (internal and external Drive the design and ensure implementation of streamlined processes required for The Company''s security environment.
Collaborate with GSEC teams and audit on required processes to ensure compliance.
Prepare and own all presentations for required audits and certifications.
What are the typical issues or problems this position must frequently address?
Respond and follow-up on all questions and issues resulting from audits. Give advice on fulfilling SOX requirements. Follow up on requests for user ids and security related support issues.
What are the most complex issues or problems this position must frequently address?
Determination of new processes required to support GSEC requirements. Knowledge of all security practices and requirements in order to work with the The Company''s Business owners to ensure compliance. Managing the security requirements and activities required for concurrent audits being conducted. Gaining commitment from The Company''s technical and functional teams to adopt required procedures and ensure compliance.
What kinds or levels of decisions will this position have total authority to make?
Ability to define new processes in order to meet internal and external audit requirements. Ability to require compliance in all areas of The Company''s environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience
Previous experience working in a security administration role.
Ability to manage and complete work associated with multiple concurrent projects/priorities
Ability to follow up on require tasks and drive them to completion
Experience working with global teams across multiple functional areas
Experience working with internal and external customers

Experience managing security in Tivoli/ITIM.
Understands The Company''s Security standards and requirements, and maintaining security within The Company.
Experience in and knowledge of required internal and external audit requirements.
Experience working within The Company''s environment and understanding audit processes.

Education (Specific Branch of Study, Certificate)
Degree in an Information Technology, Security or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent
