Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for delivering weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations utilizing financial systems and advance excel functions.
· Collecting and analyzing quantitative data to develop relevant reports leading to cost reductions
· Own weekly project budgeting review and spend vs budget approvals
Qualifications:
· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
· 5+ years of finance experience, or master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience
· Preferably CPA certified
· Collaborate closely with business partners to implement and execute scalable processes for tracking and managing funding requests, triaging intra-quarter puts/takes and assessing variances to plan
· Be a key contributor in the end-to-end financial planning and forecasting processes (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
· Support the month-end-close process, collaborating closely with our corporate finance and accounting teams
· Detailed review of contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs) for new agreements and ensuring optimal spend
· Build and maintain the rolling forecast at a vendor and product level, partnering with relevant stakeholders to validate and refine assumptions
· Perform month end close procedures including journal entries, close reporting, commentary to executives to ensure accurate expense is reported for the month and any unplanned items are fully vetted
· Lead monthly Financial performance review meetings with IT Senior Leadership Team and budget owners Generate and distribute reports to Cost Center owners on monthly operating results and variances to plan Review and master all relevant contracts/agreements related to the supported portfolio(s)
· Experience in commercial banking, consulting, accounting, finance or operations analytical and financial modeling skills
