Job Title: Senior Technical Support with HVAC & BAS Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite) Duration: FULL-TIME Interview Mode: Phone followed by Skype Job description: 2-4 Years of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) experience 2-4 Years of Building Automation System (BAS) experience 2-4 Years of Technical Support experience Associate Degree or equivalent experience preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned): Level 2 remote technical support. Provide remote support to contractors during install/service. Review submittals and briefs for the support team. Validate schematics and sequence of operations. Create support material and documentation. Become an expert on Client products and solutions. Analyze data points to determine mechanical, hardware, and software failure. Create detailed service tickets and track to their resolution. Process service tickets to ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner and within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and that the communication documented within tickets is complete. Remotely configure Client systems to optimize performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (cont'd): Perform project management roles; keeping tabs on all in-field service and installations, helping coordinate service visits. Bring fresh ideas to continue to improve our support department. Some on-call work after hours. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to successfully complete each essential duty. Ability to learn new applications quickly. Effective written and verbal communications and strong comprehension. Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder.
