Job Title: Front-end Developer

Location:White Plains, NY

Duration: 12 month

 

I can use some help on the Front-end Developer position with AutoNation. They are currently using Angular 9 if you have people with 7 or 8 that might be fine but prefer version 9 or above. Now the tough part is they need to be local to either White Plains, NY or Fort Lauderdale, FL. Not sure if you have anyone in these areas. It will be partial remote need to go in 3 days a week.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with clients to develop the overall look and design of a website
  • Writing website code with programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Producing, maintaining and modifying websites and user interfaces
  • Incorporating applications, graphics, audio and video clips into client websites
  • Creating tools that enhance the user’s website experience
  • Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones
  • Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors
  • Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 4-7 years of experience as a front end developer
  • Extensive experience with frontend development using Angular (9+), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, Node, React etc
  • A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles (plugins, node packages, etc.).
  • Must demonstrate proficiency and understating of C# & .NET Technologies
  • Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools.
  • Expert knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices.
  • A history of deconstructing user behavior to create an improved experience for users
