We are hiring Front End Developer for one of our clients in Cary, NC.
Job Description:
As part of this high growth initiative, the Senior Engineer, Front End/Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing and implementing full-stack solutions for complex health care systems.
This role requires a diversified knowledge of engineering principles and the ability to make technical decisions independently. A full understanding of the software development life cycle is required, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and documentation of specifications.
- Work requires analysis and/or application of technical principles to develop new design or processes or improve upon existing designs or processes
- Develop visually appealing front end website architecture, including translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code
- Use agile engineering practices, various software and web development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance the experience
- Design interfaces to integrate with legacy application systems and infrastructure
- Execute projects with minimal guidance.
- Work together with the development team to develop quality, testable applications based on product and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment, helping to establish lean but effective software practices.
- Design and coding practices consistent with security and regulatory standards.
Skills Required:
- Proficient with web development technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML, SSL, SignalR, CSS3.
- Demonstrable understanding of object-oriented development, multi-threading and data structures
- Must have experience in commercial software development
- Must have ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
- Ability to work in a team environment using Agile methods to work together to accomplish shared goals
- Possess the ability to manage time and prioritize critical priorities
- Demonstrate ability to initiate and develop creative solutions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Education required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science in appropriate technical discipline or local equivalent of same
Experience Required:
- 3+ years’ experience in an engineering or technical role
- Experience using C# and .NET Core.
- Experience using HTTP, JSON and RESTFul Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
- Experience with document-based (e.g. Mongo) and relational (e.g. SQL Server) databases
- Experience in converting mock-ups and wire frames into functioning applications
