Job Title: Principal Front End Developer
Reports To: Chief Digital Officer
LOCATION:
• Andover, MA; in the office for the first 6 months, 4 days in the office, I day at home; very flexible for life events etc.
SALARY:
• $150K - $190K + 15% target bonus + Stocks

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
Primarily responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and testing user facing web applications that enables client to achieve its desired future vision.
Responsible for ensuring that the design is implemented using state of the art security and data protection that ensures HIPPA compliance.
With the understanding of Agile software development, the applicant will help with planning the work, and help steer the technical direction and implementation approach.
Leverage deep understanding of web technologies to influence the solution approach to create desired UX experience.
Gain continuous feedback from application consumers and stakeholders to iterate and improve our experiences.
Work closely with our back-end teams to define/influence API design.
Investigate new technologies in order to find new and innovative solutions.
Stay abreast of and leverage, enhancements, and changes to front-end web technology.
Also responsible for CI/CD pipeline, building and manage fully automated
build/test/deployment environments.
Continually push to improve processes, efficiency, and quality.
Perform other client’s tasks and duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years of software industry experience with 5+ years of designing, developing and deploying web-based applications.
Experience with front-end development, building and maintaining web SPAs. Understanding & experience with Design Systems is a plus.
Frontend tech, solid understanding of JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux , DOM manipulation, HTML5, CSS, how to structure, organize & maintain code.
Deep understanding of UI layouts, CSS grid system, understanding of SASS, or LESS.
An eye for detail, and a deep desire for high quality, functional and consistent user
experiences.
Experience with backend services and their implementations a plus.
Must be able to take initiative, be a self-starter, work in a fast paced, high energy,
collaborative team that possesses a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION: BS in Computer Science or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience
