Contract description
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in configuring, managing, and optimizing firewall solutions to establish effective security controls and maintain optimal performance across client environments.
Key skills include the ability to monitor network traffic and security events to identify potential threats, conduct thorough analyses of security incidents, and develop and maintain firewall policies and documentation in alignment with best practices.
Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on incident response processes.

Firewall Configuration and Management: Proficient in configuring, managing, and optimizing firewall solutions to establish effective security controls and maintain optimal performance across client environments.
Network Traffic Monitoring: Strong ability to monitor network traffic and security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive risk mitigation.
Incident Analysis and Response: Expertise in conducting thorough analyses of security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation efforts, and collaborating with incident response teams for timely resolution.
Documentation and Policy Development: Skilled in developing and maintaining firewall policies, rules, and documentation to align with best practices and compliance requirements.
Mentorship and Training: Ability to mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on firewall management and incident response processes, as well as assist in developing security awareness training for staff.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred, providing a solid foundation in technical principles and practices.
Professional Experience: 2-3 years of experience in network security operations, with a specific focus on firewall management and hands-on experience with firewall products.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices, with experience in technologies such as Checkpoint and Tufin.
Security Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with security monitoring tools such as Splunk and network visibility solutions like Netography, enhancing the ability to analyze security events effectively.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+) are a plus, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and expertise in the field.
