The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to help the organization improve profitability and efficiency.
Analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends and risks
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Build and maintain financial models for planning and decision support
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Evaluate business performance and recommend improvements
Conduct variance analysis between actual results and forecasts
Assist with investment analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI calculations
Collaborate with accounting, operations, and management teams
Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with company policies
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proficiency in Excel (financial models, pivot tables, formulas)
Basic knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Internship or prior experience in finance or accounting
Experience with financial software or ERP systems
Knowledge of SQL, Python, or data visualization tools (a plus)
Progress toward CFA, CPA, or similar certification (a plus)
