Job Summary:
  • Field Testing Engineer perform test on Mobile devices on specific test plan in in live network environment
  • Devices are tested at both stationary locations and specific drive routes
  • Data Performance, Call Performance, Audio Quality tests
Responsibilities:
  • Perform wireless device field testing per test plan and collect logs using Specific test tools
  • Troubleshoot device related and tool issues when required.
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects and inconsistencies in handset behavior
  • Review test results for accuracy and quality
  • Execute tests and communicate results, defects efficiently to Lead.
Skills Required:
  • Experience with wireless device field testing and troubleshooting
  • Good understanding of WCDMA, LTE and VoLTE
  • Experience with different mobile operating systems such as Android and iOS
  • Should have Exposure to Quality Center/Defect Management tool
Skills Preferred:
  • QXDM logging, MTK logger, Datum and NOMAD experience is desired
  • Prior Experience of Carrier Field testing, AGPS Testing, Telecommunication DFIT, Telecommunication Field Test or any OEM field test

Role – Field Test Lead
Locations – Seattle, WA(1 position) | NYC, NY(1 position)
More than 5 years of experience, and less than 2 years of experience as lead mentioned in JD: 80K max
More than 5 years of experience, and 2 to 4 years of experience mentioned in JD: 90k max
Job Summary:
  • Planning and executing customer project and ensure delivery on time
  • Client communication and reporting
  • Troubleshooting with team and ensure quality
  • Design test plan and Perform tests on Mobile devices in live network environment
  • Devices are tested at both stationary locations and specific drive routes
Role and Duties:
  • Develop test strategy and assistance in the development of associated test scripts
  • Aid the test teams in setting up environments and provide feedback and analysis on test activities/results
  • Produce test plans and reports as required
  • Analyze and identify business risk areas and impacts
  • Identify user requirements to enable test execution
  • Mentor and lead testing phases across the duration of the program, including the training of staff in test execution
  • Responsible for release governance with the ability to articulate and manage go / no go decisions
  • Team management and coordination with 3rd party suppliers
  • Day to day planning and control of QA activities
  • Identify user requirements to enable test execution
Required background:
  • Experience with wireless device field testing and troubleshooting
  • Well versed with 3G, 4G LTE, 5G (SA/NSA and FR1/FR2) technologies
  • Knowledge of end-to-end call flows - Voice (CS and IMS), SMS, Data and MMS
  • Should have Exposure to Quality Center/Defect Management tool
  • Experience in customer join testing.
  • Tools: QxDM, STT, Spirent Datum/NOMAD knowledge is must.
